Oh how He Loves Us

Today has been a very long, dreadful, and depressing day. Its been  one of those day where I just feel nothing can go my way. A day where I feel like the the lowest thing ever created. But Christ has shown me love. I was reading 1 Peter today looking for answers, looking for love, looking for hope, and I found it.

"As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious,⁵ you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." (1 Peter 2:4-5)

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9)

I have been rejected by all man. But God has chosen me. The God of the universe the creator of the world finds me precious. After hearing that how could I care about anything else on this earth but Him. How could I let the rejection of this world hold me down when I am a precious and chosen creation of the living God of the universe.

"For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. ²⁰ For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. ²¹ For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps" (1 Peter 2:19-21)

My suffering is in no way close to what Christ did for me. But I know that the pain of this world, the suffering of this world is hear to give me strength. Its hear to help me trust in the Lord and endure like he did. How I love my Lord. How I seek to endure through this day.

This day may be hard and long. But I will endure because Christ suffered and endured for me. He will help me grow though my endurance. This time will pass, this pain will end. Though I may be rejected by this world I am precise in his site. Friends life is hard but Christ has a plan for us all. You are a chosen precise person to Him. He will not let you down. Love him with all your heart, because He loves you will ALL of his.

God is Love. He loves you. Keep me in your prayers my friends. You are in mine. You are SO LOVED!
